On November 17, 2017, the first new MCMV (mine countermeasure vessel or mine-hunter) to be delivered under the name of ORP Kormoran, departed Remontowa Shipbuilding yard and the port of Gdansk for its permanent base in Gdynia, marking delivery to Polish Navy.

Modern multi-role Polish Navy tugs construction commenced
Remontowa Shipbuilding has begun construction of the first tug in a series of six on order from Ministry of Dedence. The vessel, newbuilding no. B860/1, has been designed by NED-Project, while the workshop documentation has been developed by Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting.
El-Mellah delivered, with Algerian flag hoisted
On Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the outfitting quay of Remontowa Shipbuilding SA yard in Gdansk, a flag change ceremony took place on Algerian sailing training vessel El-Mellah (938), following the signing of delivery documents.

BC Ferries’ Salish Raven, the third and final ‘Salish’ class vessel, is on its way. The Remontowa Shipbuilding yard built vessel departed Gdansk, Poland, before noon on April 28, 2017, for a 10,440 nautical mile journey bound for its new home in British Columbia.
Saab selects Nauta for Swedish Navy’s SIGINT ship

Production of the first hybrid battery ferries for London has begun!
On April 20, 2017 at Remontowa Shipbuilding in Gdansk, the steel cutting for the new two hybrid car passenger ferries ordered by Transport for London took place. Mark Willbourn, project manager at Briggs Marine pushed the button of a cutting plasma machine thus initiating the production process.
