On Tuesday, 20 June, the passenger/cargo ferry Polonia, part of the Unity Line fleet, sailed on its jubilee voyage from Świnoujście to Ystad, Sweden.
To celebrate the occasion, Unity Line, in cooperation with Super FM radio, prepared a competition and a series of interesting materials that introduce the history and specifics of the company’s flagship ferry, as well as the daily duties of the entire M/F Polonia crew. As befits an anniversary, there was also a cake and special thanks to the captains and the entire crew.
The ferry Polonia was built in 1995 at the Langsten shipyard in Norway. The vessel has 918 passenger seats, and on board there are, among others, an à la carte restaurant, a conference room, 212 air-conditioned cabins, as well as an on-board shop, bar or casino. In addition to passengers, the M/F Polonia also carries cars, trucks and oversized cargo.
More information about the Polonia ferry and the carrier’s offer can be found on the Unity Line website and on the shipowner’s official facebook profile.
