Poltramp Yard SA launches catamaran workboat for Norwegian owners

On October 17, 2015 Świnoujście-based yard Poltramp Yard SA launched a catamaran Terna for servicing salmon farms, being built for Norwegian owner.

It is another similar vessel built at this yard for “turn-key” delivery and the second newbuilding to be launched by Poltramp this year (the first was the catamaran Mailn). The ship of 159A design was conceived in own ship design office in close co-operation with Norwegian client.

The twin hulled ship, 14.95 m in overall length and 8.00 m wide, is expected to be delivered in November. The vessel is powered with two diesel, equipped deck cranes, a towing winch, hydraulic capstans and features a large work deck area.
