Naftoport handled 3.2 million tonnes of cargo in March

Naftoport Gdansk handled 3.2 million tonnes of crude oil and liquid fuels in March 2023, the company said.

As Naftoport Gdansk announced in a press release, March 2023 was another record month in the Terminal’s operations in terms of cargo volume handled.

“In March, 3.2 million tonnes of crude oil and liquid fuels were handled, which is the highest monthly tonnage handled in the Company’s history. On the other hand, in the entire first quarter of this year. Naftoport performed transshipments of 8.7 million tonnes,” it was conveyed.

“The volumes handled by Naftoport cover the entire domestic demand for crude oil supplies and marine fuel trade, also supplementing the supply of crude for foreign contractors,” the release stressed.

As stated on the company’s website, the largest monthly transshipments at Naftoport terminal were recorded in March 2023 (3.2 million tonnes), January 2023 (over 2.9 million tonnes), September 2022 (over 2.6 million tonnes), October 2022 (over 2.5 million tonnes), February 2023 (over 2.4 million tonnes) and May 2019, respectively.
