Baltic Sea Region Defense Industry Exhibition Features Poland”In mid-May, Tallinn will host an international defence technology and security trade fair aimed at strengthening cooperation between the arms sectors of the Baltic Sea countries, i.e. Germany, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, as well as other NATO allies.
This is the first time that decision-makers and entrepreneurs from the supply security, homeland security and defence sectors will come together in Tallinn at an international event to share experiences, network and cooperate, said the head of Estonia’s defence ministry Hanno Pevkur.
More than 70 companies from Estonia and other countries along the Baltic Sea, as well as Israel, Canada and Italy, among others, will be exhibiting at Supply, Security & Defence Expo 2025, the organisers said. One of the entities supporting the fair is the Polish Embassy in Tallinn.
The three-day event will also feature panel discussions as part of a conference on uniting the countries of the Baltic region in the name of strengthening its defence capabilities on land, in the air and at sea. Among those in attendance will be members of the Estonian government, representatives from German arms company Rheinmetall, Nordic munitions specialist Nammo AS and the cyber security department of Samsung’s UK subsidiary.
The Tallinn Expo will take place from 14 to 16 May at the Bekker port area, on the Kopli peninsula.
