Baltic Operator, a company belonging to Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic, has signed a contract with the French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique for the production of three partially equipped ship blocks of the Harmony-Class cruise ship.
The hotel blocks with an estimated weight of about 2 500 tonnes will be part of a unit produced for one of the largest shipowners which is Royal Caribbean International. The realization of the project will be another step forward for the Gdansk-based company, which seeks to return to and develop its own competence in the production of fully equipped vessels.
Completion of this order will allow the company to cooperate with the world’s leading industry and sustainable development in the shipbuilding segment – says Andrzej Czech, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic
Completion of the final works has been agreed by the parties in mid-2022.
