PKN Orlen signs three strategic agreements with Saudi company
PKN Orlen has signed three strategic agreements with a Saudi company. These are a framework agreement in the area of analyses and investments in petrochemistry, an agreement on cooperation in research and development and a long-term contract for oil supplies, PKN Orlen CEO Daniel Obajtek said on Wednesday.
Saudi Aramco will be a strategic partner that will cover 30 percent of the spun-off Gdansk Refinery, wholesale and the jet fuel area, Obajtek stressed.
The president of PKN Orlen said that PKN Orlen’s partner in the takeover of Lotos – Saudi Aramco sets trends on the markets, it is the largest oil producer in the world and a leader in modern petrochemistry.

He noted that at the same time PKN Orlen signed three strategic agreements with the Saudi company. These are a framework agreement in the area of analyses and investments in petrochemistry, an agreement on cooperation in research and development and a long-term contract for the supply of crude oil, which, Obajtek said, will flow to all Orlen refineries in Poland, Lithuania and the Czech Republic.
