The Navy announced on social media that on Friday, 15 December, mine divers of the minesweeper Squadron from Gdynia will pick up and hand over for neutralisation unexploded bombs located in the waters of the Bay of Puck.

These will include 3 Soviet aerial bombs from the Second World War period. The operation will begin at 8 a.m. For safety reasons, for the duration of the operation, there is a ban on staying in the area of the Western Hel Port and a ban on entering the water from the side of the bay on the section from the headland to Hel Boru,” was written on the Navy’s Facebook page.

For safety reasons, the Navy is asking to comply with the restrictions on the day of the operation and to follow the instructions of the services involved in securing the operation.
