Baltic Hub board member: cooperation and dialogue between banks and business is needed like never before
According to Adam Żołnowski, board member of Baltic Hub and participant in the expert debate closing the 9th Corporate and Investment Banking Congress, the increased potential of Polish banks and businesses can take their cooperation to a whole new level.
It is obvious that banks do not give money for free and look to minimise risk when providing financing. However, indigenous companies are growing stronger every year, becoming reliable partners able to effectively negotiate the most favourable terms and conditions of the agreements they conclude, the expert assesses.
Baltic Hub is a container terminal located in the Port of Gdansk, connecting the whole world with the region of Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic Sea. According to Adam Żołnowski, thanks to further investments in infrastructure, the Polish terminal will soon reach half of the handling capacity of the leading European port in Hamburg.
The 9th Corporate and Retail Banking Congress – a prestigious conference dedicated to the opportunities and challenges facing the Polish banking sector and the economy as a whole – concluded at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
