DCT Gdansk handling US military equipment transfer again – see video

This time, the significant batch of US Army’s vehicles, including combat ones, and equipment, was brought to Gdansk, Poland, onboard vehicle carrier (PC/TC) Liberty Pride (21 233 dwt capacity, 6545 standard personal cars capacity), which was berthed at DCT Gdansk on August 26-28.   Soldiers with the 2nd Squadron, 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment, an Army National Guard unit based out of Knoxville, Tennessee, conducted port operations at the Deepwater Container Terminal (DCT) in Gdansk, Poland on August 27-29. The unit is received their vehicles and equipment before beginning rotation in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. These rotations strengthen our NATO alliances, as well as ensures peace and stability throughout Europe.

The ship itself, belonging to the Maritime Security Program Fleet, came to Gdańsk from Charleston, US East Coast.
