On November 17, 2017, the first new MCMV (mine countermeasure vessel or mine-hunter) to be delivered under the name of ORP Kormoran, departed Remontowa Shipbuilding yard and the port of Gdansk for its permanent base in Gdynia, marking delivery to Polish Navy.
Remontowa Shipbuilding has begun construction of the first tug in a series of six on order from Ministry of Dedence. The vessel, newbuilding no. B860/1, has been designed by NED-Project, while the workshop documentation has been developed by Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting.
